Key fiddler Daniel Pettersson won the title of World Champion of keyed fiddle in 2000. He comes from the little city of Boliden in the north of Sweden and has studied at the Eric Sahlström Institute (ESI) and Malungs Folk High School for renowned fiddler Jonny Soling and Kalle Almlöf. After the studies he has worked as a musician and a held courses in folkmusic.
