Daniel Fredriksson plays mandola and lute. He comes from the city of Skellefteå in the north of Sweden and studied folkmusic at The Music Conservatory of Falun. He also has an academic degree of ethnomusicology from The University of Umeå. After the studies he started the company Silkwood Music, combining his concerts, music teaching and occasional lectures under the same roof.
